1. Provider and scope

The website explains the app and provides beginner guides. League and tournament rules may differ. The linked rules organizations do not endorse this app.
2. The app and safe use
DartMate calculates scores for physical 301/501 games from hits you enter manually. Check your entries against the real board. It does not detect darts with a camera, provide online multiplayer or offer an Android version. Follow safe practices around a physical dartboard.
The app requires iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Scoring runs locally; purchases, restoration, entitlement checks and support may need a connection. The App Store listing determines current availability. Preview pages do not promise an available download. Minors need permission and supervision where required; purchases must be authorized by the Apple Account holder.
3. Limited free play and Plus
Free access is limited and does not promise a complete game or a fixed number of turns. Without Plus, continued play locks after a confirmed turn leaves a player or team with 1–99 points. A direct checkout from 100 or more saves the game but locks the result and continuation. A bust uses the restored score. Unconfirmed taps alone do not trigger the limit.
The saved access limit persists across relaunches, new games and Undo. A very short first-game win with fewer than two confirmed turns can show its result, but the next game requires Plus; normal 301/501 games cannot finish that quickly. A locked result also remains locked in history. Your saved game is not deleted.
Plus unlocks continued play, teams and the bust guide. The guide dims areas that would cause a bust; it is not an automatic detector or a prescribed checkout route. Access depends on a valid Apple entitlement; pending, failed or cancelled purchases do not unlock it.
4. Subscriptions and Apple billing
Plus is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple, not this website. The app and Apple confirmation show the available plan, billing period, local price and any eligible trial before purchase. Trial eligibility and duration are not guaranteed by these Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled using Apple’s subscription settings. A trial converts to the displayed paid plan if not cancelled in time. Apple advises cancelling an unwanted free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Price changes, notices and any required consent follow Apple’s procedures and applicable law.
Manage subscriptions in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app, clearing local data or emailing support does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases checks a valid entitlement with the Apple Account used to buy it; restoration does not extend expired access. Refund requests go through Apple, subject to eligibility and mandatory consumer rights.
5. Licence, ownership and permitted use
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app software licence. These are additional service conditions, not a replacement custom EULA. Apple’s licence takes precedence for software-licence conflicts, subject to mandatory law. Third-party materials keep their respective rights and licences.
You retain rights in information you enter. These Terms do not authorize publication of your local player names or games. Use the services lawfully; do not interfere with security, misuse support or infringe others’ rights. Restrictions do not remove rights that the law protects.
6. Local records
Names, scores, throws, history and settings stay in app storage. There is no developer-operated cloud synchronization. Protect your device and backups. Deleting the app can remove records; offloading and Apple backups may behave differently. We cannot remotely recover a match stored only on your device.
7. Updates and responsibility
We may update the services for compatibility, security and improvements. Changes to paid access or discontinuation remain subject to required notice and remedies. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
There is no blanket no-refund rule, waiver of statutory remedies or unrestricted consumer indemnity. Privacy and optional website measurement are explained separately; agreeing to these Terms is not analytics consent.
8. Complaints, applicable law and changes
Send complaints to support@darts-scorekeeper.app or the postal address above. You do not have to contact us before exercising statutory remedies. Applicable law and courts follow the Apple licence and mandatory rules relevant to the dispute; protected consumer rights are not waived.
We show a new revision date when Terms change and give notice or obtain acceptance where required. Changes do not retroactively remove purchase rights. If a clause is unenforceable, the remainder applies as far as the law permits.
